Golf du Rhin Seniors
The seniors section is open for all members of the Golf du Rhin reaching 55 years of age. At present, the section counts roughly 140 seniors.
Friendship is one of the priorities of the seniors. Regardless of handicap, the Thursday meetings should be a pleasure for everyone. Sport plays also a significant part. A team of good players participates regularly in the French Championship and in the regional competitions in Alsace Franche Compté.
During the summer season, the seniors organize about 30 competitions within or externely, in a mix of friendly matches with clubs in the region including Germay and Switzerland and those counting for the handicap.
The most courageous members play throughout the winter for the so-called "Crystal Cup". Depending on the weather, these competitions are played on up to 18 Thursdays.
